Having spent another night of sleeplessness .., i decided to get up an go for a walk .,

Anything is better than waiting for sleep to come ., i told myself.,

Stepping out in the inky black night ., i looked at the sky., and i saw the stars.,

I was reminded of an incident from the past., when i had gone to the Atheetha Ashram ., in the night., while returning from the dining hall., i looked up at the sky and was stunned by the sheer number of stars in the sky., so bright., so crowded ., the night sky was festooned with stars !!!!! I can never forget the sight or the revelation it brought within me.,  for i felt that i was looking at my inner self.,

that was 10 years ago ., in ten years ., i forget the stars, i forgot the sky., and only spent myself in helping people .., i spent myself like a madman .,

In the night sky., looking at the stars ., i felt a familiar company., that of my own ., and how the stars missed me ., and how patiently they waited  for me to see them .,

The saddest thing is ….., they were only a Gaze away ., just a Gaze ., a Glance.., and i was unaware of it all .,

Truly night is the best time., all people are asleep ., and with them all their problems., they wake up when the people wake up .,

Unawareness and Unconsciousness is Death .,  awareness is life.,

Mindless are people in pursuit of pleasure, hoarding, manipulating,  ego and comparison ., Mindless are people ., Bloody Mindless.,

It has taken a long time., but the stars are still there., still waiting to enter the inner sky., still welcoming in asking you to join them in their joy ..,

Time to head back home ………., Time to come out of the slumber., Time to Shine ..,
